Event Description
The project to build 13 houses in association with the bank's 100th anniversary, is in progress. The first house has been built and the key has been handed over to Rajesh, Konam Pattalam. The construction of the houses of Vanaja- Chambakkal house, Pullardesham and Anitha- Kaimaparambil have started. Construction of the houses of Jessy Fernandez- Odanatt Parambil and Ramani- Thundiparambil will start on 13-09-2020 and 14-09-2020 respectively.
Construction of Mary Neelima's house in Kadebhagam, Arpana Nagar will begin next week. In addition to the above, the procedures for the construction of 6 houses are going on. A 500 sqft house is being constructed by the bank at a free cost of Rs 8 lakh.
The construction of the house is overseen by a construction committee, headed by a member of the bank's board of directors. This project does not intend any sort of financial collection from the people/ individuals. Yet, according to Rajesh, a lot of individuals approached the bank stating their willingness to provide employment services and materials free of cost. The bank welcomes this kind of cooperation from the people. The bank is moving forward with heart touching interventions in various parts of Palluruthy.
