“Onam Aswas Loan” scheme launched.
The interest-free loan scheme “Onam Aswas Loan” was inaugurated by former MLA Mr. John Fernandes at a function held at the bank head office on 22/08/2025 by disbursing the first loan to Mrs. Shaibi Suresh.
The function was presided over by the bank president Mr. K P Selvan and was attended by Vice President Mr. K Suresh, members of the board of directors, Mr. A M Sheriff, C R Biju, A P Rasheed, Prasanna Pran, Augustine Thankachan, bank secretary Mrs. K M Najma, assistant secretary K R Sajitha Kumari, employees and associates. The officials informed that through the loan scheme, members will get relief from the heavy expenses during the festival.
In his speech, the inaugurator Mr. John Fernandes said that the “Onam Aswas Loan” scheme will be of great help to financially backward families.
Officials said that if eligible members submit an application, steps will be taken to sanction the loan the next day.
